Norwood Police Send Clear Message: “If You Flee, You Will Be Found”
NORWOOD —The Norwood Police Department is sending a stern message to anyone considering evading officers during a traffic stop: fleeing will not prevent accountability; it only creates danger for the public and guarantees further charges.
In a press release, Police Chief Christopher Padden highlighted the recent success of his officers in swiftly identifying, locating, and charging several operators who attempted to evade police. The department emphasized that their persistence and thorough police work have led to the arrests and warrants for those who tried to escape.
“Our officers use every available resource to protect the public and hold those who endanger others accountable,” Chief Padden stated, commending the officers involved. “These cases send a clear message: If you flee, we will find you, and you will be charged.”
