NORWOOD – A 19-year-old Norwood resident has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man following the incident on Hoyle Street this past Saturday, police say.

Authorities announced today that Isaiah Pierre-Mike, 19, was taken into custody following an investigation by the Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office and the Norwood Police Department.

According to court documents, the charges stem from an assault that occurred on Saturday at a residence on Hoyle Street, where Pierre-Mike allegedly lives.

The victim has been identified as Anton C. Dowling, 25, of Boston. Police say Dowling succumbed to injuries sustained during the altercation.

Pierre-Mike is facing several felony charges, including manslaughter and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon. He is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow morning, December 2, 2025, at Dedham District Court.

Norwood Police have not released further details regarding the specific nature of the weapon used or the circumstances leading up to the altercation at this time. The investigation remains active. -RD
