NORWOOD – Norwood Police detectives have identified and charged three juveniles in connection with an armed robbery and shooting that took place on Irving Street on September 9, 2025.
Following an intensive investigation, police announced today that the suspects allegedly lured a victim to the area under the pretense of a marijuana transaction before robbing the individual at gunpoint. During the incident, the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the lower torso area.
The investigation led detectives to execute a search warrant at a residence in Norwest Woods, where authorities recovered additional evidence linking the juveniles to the crime. This evidence, along with other information gathered during the investigation, resulted in the issuance of arrest warrants.
Two of the juveniles are currently in police custody, and detectives are actively working to locate the third suspect. Police determined that the juveniles acted together to carry out the crime.
Authorities stressed that the incident was not a random act, and they believe there is no ongoing threat to the general public.
The Norwood Police Department reiterated its commitment to community safety, vowing to continue pursuing those involved in acts of violence. Due to Massachusetts law regarding juveniles, police will not provide any further identifying information about the suspects.
