NORWOOD – A local woman was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after allegedly trespassing at the Lenox Station Condos for the third time; twice in a single day. She claimed divine intervention guided her to the property, police say.
Lilibeth Lugo was arrested on February 26, 2026, and charged with trespassing following a series of encounters with residents and Norwood Police at the Lenox Station property located at 1 Lenox Street.
According to a Norwood Police report, officers were dispatched to the condominiums at approximately 3:30 PM after receiving a call from the Lenox Station Board of Trustees chairperson. She informed authorities that an “unwanted party” who had been removed earlier that morning had returned to the premises.
Police say this incident marked the third time police had been summoned to the property regarding Lugo. Trustees reported that Lugo had also been found inside the complex on February 1, wandering the third floor near the elevators. The report suggests Lugo may have gained entry into the locked building by “piggybacking” residents.
Officers located Lugo in the indoor parking garage (pictured above). When questioned by police as to why she returned after being told to leave, Lugo reportedly cited “the one” and “the superior” as the reason for her presence.
“Lugo stated that ‘the one’ had told her that this specific place was where she had to be,” the reporting officer noted.
After Lugo allegedly failed to follow officers’ instruction to vacate the premises, Lugo was placed under arrest for trespassing. Even while in handcuffs, she reportedly maintained that she was “where she was meant to be.”
Lugo was later bailed by a commissioner with a promise to appear in court for arraignment after being transported to the hospital for an undisclosed medical issue. However, according to court documents, she did not appear and a warrant for her arrest was issued. -RD
